BOC Support National Science Week 2006
As part of National Science Week 2006, BOC Science Ambassadors gave a number of performances of “It’s a Gas” - a show highlighting the properties and uses of Nitrogen, Oxygen, Helium, Carbon Dioxide and Hydrogen.
On the 22nd March at Sheffield Hallam University, SETPOINT South Yorkshire along with the Industrial Trust organised for some 350 students to attend an afternoon show. A repeat performance in the evening was open to the general public.
As a continued support to teachers the BOC team of Martin Hobbs, Paul Jarrett, Matt Jozwiak, Mark Gray and Simon White gave a pre-event learning day at Brinsworth, South Yorkshire. This was a particular benefit to teachers attending the afternoon show with their classes.
